We did not fire this handgun.īox, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in the Walther factory hard plastic case. Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. All wear is in hidden areas and in hand the pistol is Excellent. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine- Excellent condition, it is slightly discounted for the finish loss to the backstrap and if any alteration was made to the original frame. The front sight is a plastic and has slightly discolored slightly over the years. The frame may have been shaved and polished when this grip was installed to get the desired grip angle and smooth finish. The most notable spot is the rear of the grip under the sight. The balance of the finish is loss to the moving parts and handling. Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The grip rates in about Fine – Excellent overall condition, beautifully figured.īore Condition: The bore is Bright and the rifling is Sharp There is NO erosion in the bore. As with all us average guys, we can probably live with the shape angle and size, but some shooters may prefer their own custom fitted grip at this level of competition, we cannot tell if this will fit you. Still with the grip angle and hand placement this grip may not be suitable for you. The grip should fit most average size hands.

The stippling is a little soft and some dirt has built up in the grooves, again normal from handling. The inside of the grip that makes contact with the back of the hand has some light scratches, likely from handling. The seam is easily overlooked and the grip appears to be one piece at a glance. It is nearly impossible to craft such a large grip from one piece of wood, and upon closer examination you can see the slightest seam where the two pieces meet. The grip appears to be one piece as is on the pistol. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are Custom Walnut wraparound target grips with stippling. The rear sight is a fully adjustable target sight for windage and elevation. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge style. The underside hidden at the wrist in electric pen is the initials “RKH”. The right side of the barrel near the muzzle is marked “40”.
